Seaglass  - A Unique Art Quilt (and the perfect stashbuster) with  Allie McCathren

https://exhaustedoctopus.com

There is no one pattern to make a seaglass quilt, and that's the beauty of them. Just like the pieces of found glass it's named for, shaped by time and water, each quilt tells a story.

I'll show you how to combine fabrics from your beloved scraps (and not so beloved ones as well) to make gorgeous art quilts.

There is no one pattern or template set. This class teaches the technique of how to make these quilt, and walks you through the entire process of design, layout, quilting, and finishing the quilt.

This class includes written lessons and videos. For the deaf or hard of hearing, all content in the videos is written in the text, with corresponding photos.

Conversion with Connie Bowles

I fell in love with Ricky Tims' Convergence Quilts and so will you!  You will be surprised how fast it is to create something that looks so complex but is surprisingly easy and fun using only four fat quarters or one yard of a hand dyed cotton fabric. I love teaching this workshop as everyone has a great time and usually walks away with a completed top.  As Ricky Tims says, ".....these quilts create themselves".  All skill levels welcome.
