The PQ Gazette is published monthly and contains a wealth of information. It's our primary means of communications, along with announcements at meetings. The Gazette can be viewed and downloaded from our website https://www.peninsulaquilters.org.
The Guild secure website and Facebook link PQG What's Under My Needle is a resource for members and the community. It includes descriptions of upcoming meetings, activities, photo gallery and other important information.
Bees are smaller groups that usually meet monthly.
All members are welcome to attend any board meeting. The board meets monthly virtually on the second Wednesday of the month. The September board meeting is held on the forth Wednesday of the month.
The New Members Tea is held annually to welcome new members and all members are invited. The New Member Tea is a great opportunity to get to know other quilters and to learn about your guild in a smaller setting.

Fund Raising Events:
Members participate in the fair by showing their quilts, interacting with attendees, showing and selling raffle tickets to the annual Opportunity Quilt made by PQG members.
Twice a year we hold a weekend long "no frills" quilting retreat, with open sewing, food and fun. We may also have a more structured retreat.
Members purchase a kit (usually $5) and create a project from specified fabrics. Finished quilts are displayed at the April meeting. Participation proceeds are used to award prizes for the best submissions.
Look for opportunities to obtain more wonderful books, patterns and fabric at our meetings. Periodically we have auctions and sales that are announced in advance
